Mega Pixels Explained (sort of…)

I came across this site while trying to figure out how many megapixels are on the Mars Rover’s camera. It goes on to explain about the sensor and crap and even suggests that different cameras with the same sensor will end up with the same picture quality even if they have different amounts of pixels. This seems like a bit of stretch to me, but then again I am drunk.
