New Windows Version in Late 2009
Microsoft, which will soon be without Bill Gates, is apparently gearing up for a new version of its Windows operating system. Codenamed “Blackcomb Vienna.” It took forever for Windows 98 to turn into XP, and XP to turn into Vista. This time it looks like Microsoft is taking a page from the Apple playbook and is coming out with a new version before the last release can get stale.
The last version was codenamed Longhorn and finally came out as Vista. Who knows what the next one will be called. Hurry somebody go through all of the domains Microsoft owns and see which it might be! If they are really serious about this whole online thing it should have something to do with the whole “Live” brand they’ve dreamed up over there.
